Upon arrival you will be welcomed into our spa to change and prepare for your treatment. Oversized robes will be provided along with slippers and wraps.  Following your experience you are welcome to relax in our lounge area while sipping an herbal tea or lemon water

Etiquette

It is important to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to make the most of your experience and prepare for your treatment. Please respect the peaceful relaxing atmosphere of the spa so our guests may enjoy their dedicated time by turning off cell phones and maintaining a quiet voice while in the spa.  Please be aware of time spent in the spa room after treatment so that we may prepare for our following guests. We ask that you use the spa change room to refresh.

Reservations

It is recommended that you pre-book your appointments to avoid disappointment.  A credit card will be required to reserve time booked over 2 hours duration or for group bookings.  We do consider it a purchase of time and the credit card will be charged if guests fail to show without notice.  Please advise if same day cancellations are unavoidable due to unforeseen circumstances.

Gratuity

It is important to us to give you the very best experience possible, please use your own discretion when showing your appreciation to your technician,  An 18% gratuity will be automatically added for group bookings only.

Safest Micro-Needles

The medical-grade micro-needles of the eDermaStamp® are atraumatic (non-traumatic) cone-shaped needles that displace the skin during the puncture process, creating a micro-wound that seals within minutes of treatment. Poorer quality roller devices are made with knife-shaped needles that slice through tissue and risk causing traumatic skin, vessel and nerve damage. Poor quality needles also require increased pressure, making for a more painful treatment.

Fastest Motor on the Market

At 150 strokes per second (the fastest on the market!) the eDermaStamp® can safely glide over the skin without scratching or tearing the skin. Poor quality micro-needling pens which operate at a slower insertion rate (100 to 120 strokes per second) can cause scratches and micro-tears in the tissue as the tip moves across the face. The result can be increased epidermal damage and increased risk of infection.

Non Ablative

Where other scar and anti-aging treatments are ablative (destroying tissue), the eDermaStamp® respects the integrity of the epidermis and dermis, using atraumatic (non-traumatic) perforations to gently trigger the generation of new tissue.

Optimal Needle Count

Don’t be mislead by imitation rollers that boast “the most needles”. Though we want to maximize the number of perforations, too many needles compromises the safety and comfort of the treatment. Imagine a bed of nails: while a bed of nails can easily support your body weight without a nail perforating your skin, a single nail would easily penetrate your skin under the same pressure. Similarly, a roller with too many needles will require dangerous and uncomfortable amounts of pressure in order to penetrate the skin to the appropriate depth. The eDermaStamp® employs the optimal number of needles to maximize effectiveness, safety and comfort.

Electric vs. Battery

The eDermaStamp® is built for consistency. As an electric device, it outputs consistent power which means consistent performance. A battery operated device outputs inconsistent power. As the battery starts to wear out, the tip will slow down and the results can be unwanted micro tears and scratching of the skin.

The eDermaStamp® is licensed by Health Canada. There are countless imitation products on the market that are not licensed by Health Canada so we recommend you do your research, to protect your health and safety.

FAQ

What is Microblading and Tattoo enhancing

A semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement. Pigment is drawn into the upper layer of the skin using a row of tiny, sterile needles on a disposable hand tool. This mimics the look of natural hair strokes to enhance or flatter your natural brow shape.

How long does it last?

Microblading will last approximately 1-2 years. The amount of time it will last depends on varying factors such as skin type, age and some lifestyle factors.

Does it hurt?

A topical anesthetic is applied before and during the procedure to help alleviate or eliminate any discomfort. Having the procedure performed during or close to your menstrual cycle can increase pain. If you are a heavy smoker the numbing cream will not last as long.

How many treatments are needed?

For most clients, a minimum of 2 procedures are needed. Brows are not considered complete until at least 1 touch up, which happens no sooner than 6 weeks after your initial procedure.

How will I look immediately after the procedure?

Brows will be more intense and dark for the first few days. This will lighten throughout the healing process, redness and swelling is minimal.
